Grrr.....step away from MY Rosie!!
Deep breath, Terri. Rosie will always be my girl--so let it go--let it go.
We have a unique bond--Linda and Katie saw when we did our "dance."
butterfly--at birth the foals weigh about 25 lbs, most of the adults are around 250.

How is Katie's arm??? :(
I have to tell you this: we were having a bee issue and for the first time in 24 years of living here--we had an exterminator come out. Mark wouldn't have found them if he wasn't painting the house, but when he blocked their entrance so he could scrape--they started coming in the house.   I could hear them in one pull out drawer and imagined a huge hive in there--but in reality there were only 2.  But, the bee guy came 5 min before Linda and Katie pulled in... so I had to tend to that first. The bee guy was awesome and took care of three nests. BUT, once we came in for lunch, the bees were crawling, or sometimes flying, into the kitchen. We didn't want to eat outside because we'd just been in the hot pastures for 2 hours, so we ate with a cool fan blowing and me protecting Katie from bees with a swatter. :D I kept my eye on them and popped one whenever they graced our presence.
Oh--butterflywing--thanks anyway, they're all quite content here and feel like a big family. No one is leaving unless Kennedy buys 1-2. It's 85 with no breeze now so I just put them all in stalls with their fans blowing, cold water, and a snack of hay. I bet they'll all be napping in 20 min. :D

Oh yuck, bees!
I keep bug spray in pretty much every room of this house. Wasps are making nests on every window outside. They are the mud ones....yuck!
Karla....you know one of those horses is mine, she just has to live with you. lol Now go and give her lots of love from me! :) :) :)
