I went to a garage sale yesterday and found a machine. ( I didn't buy it because I wasn't quite sure what it was.)
It looked similar to a featherweight with a box and everything, but it wasn't.
It said something like "Donnelson" on it where a featherweight would say "Singer." It was a lot duller in color and had what looked like a large handle protruding from the front of it. I'm not sure what that was for.
Has anyone come across a machine like this or know anything about it?
They only had $25 on it. Should I have bought it?

I probably would have, just because it sounds unique! Can't tell you anything about it tho...maybe one of the others can?

I think I'm wrong about the "Donnelson" thing. I think it said "Domestic."

Those machines are for sure tanks and not featherweights. But a back up machine for $25 is a good idea.
