I like the Schwan's food, it's good and some food items I can't find in grocery stores. The driver we have known for years told me there was a meeting in Sprfd, MO and soon will not be getting any more big trucks of food. Supply is out. He is telling all of his customers. I bought extra of the meat dishes we like. So just a head's up if you like Schwan foods delivered.

Seems strange that it's the driver spreading this news. During the pandemic all my info on deliveries and covid cases among Schwan's employees came by e-mail from the company. We have just now this month got back to 100% regular delivery service.

I asked my SIL who lives in another state to ask her schwan driver (she started me using Schwan) if he knew about the food trucks. He is coming today so it won't be long.

She asked him about it and he said he was told there were supply chain issues. He seemed reserved and changed the subject so she didn't push for more info. She ordered extra for the next delivery. LOL

We use to get most of our ice cream and tempera shrimp from them. We are off and on with Schwan right now we are off. I love their products but back off when the budget is a bit tighter as they can be quite costly.

Just received an e-mail from Schwan's and it's an ice cream supply chain problem here. Some flavors will not be available for a while, while they wait for the supply chain to correct itself.
