Thank you to everyone offering prayers for my pain relief...I am so glad to know that others have knowledge of the horrible pain.....I feel that I can't talk about it to someone that has no idea of this problem....they all say, "you will get over it".....I am hoping that will be soon, as I feel miserable, have to keep my leg on a little stool when I am sewing at the machine, then that aggrivates the back and so on. I have found that very cold does help, I have an ice pack in the freezer which I wrap around, even cold cream helps for a while, but then its back to the horrible burning pain. As I am no longer under the out patients care at the hospital, I have made a further appointment to see my doctor.....but as usual she is booked up, so that won't be until next week. Thanks again for caring, and if anyone knows of any "miracle" cream, I am willing to use it.

I found this website where people discuss how to relieve pain from cellulitis:
http://www.herbal-home-remedies.com/...or-cellulitis/
You have to scroll down the page to read the comments.
It looks as if Oil of Oregano might be helpful. Looks as if it should be diluted with olive oil. Also Tea Tree Oil might be helpful.

Thank you for sending me that web site....reading the messages makes me know that I am not alone in suffering.
I will check out the Health store tomorrow to see if they sell the Oil of Oregano which everyone seems to recommend.
Hugs
Helen

Oh, Gosh, Poor YOU! I feel for you. I had it about 10 yrs ago after going in the waters around the mangroves in the keys. I had cuts on my legs and bam! It was very painful and it did take a while to subside completely. Try a wound center. I came back to work as a nurse and one of the docs recognized it and gave me an Rx that had it gone in no time. He's now my hubby. ha!
