All of you in upper midwest are sending us in Western New York
State another dose of nasty weather after basking in 65 degree temps this am. Add to that the fact that Lake Erie is only partially frozen...so I suppose that means our famous 'lake effect snow'. Well....I know what I am going to do. I am going into my basement sewing room and forget about the weather.

Well, I'm sitting in my bathing suit and sarong in 108.5 F (and rising).....we are in the midst of another heatwave and quite frankly....it's beginning to pall. Mind you, we have been watching the news and have seen what you are going through and we decided, it's easier to cope with heatwaves than snow and ice. Stay warm and safe everyone, we are thinking of you.

Nice and pleasant here today, max temp of 81F and a low expected of 54F. Nice change from the sorching weather we've had over the last couple of month.

I'm in Massachusetts....my Australian nephew came to visit and was disappointed with the lack of snow when he arrived. Nemo arrived over the weekend dropping 2 - 3 feet depending on the area.....he's happy....even after shoveling out his grandmother - which took a good long time. Now he's off sledding.....did I mention he is 28? Personally I enjoy the snow...........as long as I don't have to go anywhere. It's pretty. Making snow angels is fun and so is sledding. It's doing all the stuff that adults have to do regardless of the weather (like go to work and drive in it) that makes it nasty.
