YES! I will be at Sisters on the 11th. And about half the time I'll be sitting beside my guild's quilted car (shown in the link below). If you are at Sisters you are sure to see the car - it is supposed to be right outside the Stitchin' Post quilt shop. Please stop and say hello. (The other ladies in the guild know me as Linda, but you can always ask for dunster.)

I'll post some pictures from Sisters when I get back. I am SO looking forward to seeing all the quilts in the sunshine.

I asked my 10 year old if she'd drive there with me - it's a good 9 hour drive from my house. She said yes, only if we could be back by Sunday so she can go to her friend's bday party. So, at this point I'm about 50/50 to go. I plan to put it into my calendar next year and make it a 4 day trip - try to take some classes and get the max out of it. Too bad I don't have a quilting buddy to drive and go with...maybe by next year someone will come along!

No, I haven't posted the car/van before. It was finished just in time for the parade in the article. I will take more pictures at Sisters and post them then. The Jefferson guild (near Lebanon, which is where my guild meets) made their quilted car before we did, and they copied a guild in Florida, who may be the first or may have gotten the idea from another guild.

    More info and pictures later...

I have always wanted to go to the quilt show there, and always miss it by about a week or 10 days. Oh well, maybe someday.

Take LOTS of cold water! I hear it's expensive and you have to stand in a long line to get any!
