Anyone really dislikes to exercise as much as I do?

Sometimes I think I would rather eat glass than exercise. At home big tv in the exercise area, I tried books, music, tv and nothing keeps me down there. Unfortunately the treadmill is only feet from my sewing machine..... and I can hear my sewing machine whispering my name when I am on the treadmill.
Needless to say, I exercise rarely. But my husband talks about it a lot and still never does it.

I HATE EXERCISE!!!! But that said, I have been getting up and walking 3 - 5 miles a day for something like 35 years. I still hate it, but my body says "get up and get at it" Now at 72, I move with ease and my Doctor can't believe I am in such shape. When I see someone new they kind of blink when they read 72 on the paperwork, give me a glance and keep going with the interview. Eventually they will ask if I have actually walked daily (except Sundays) for all those years. Then tell me to keep it up.
Had an incident last year where I spent two days in the hospital. Was up at my usual 5AM and walking the hallways, nurses could not believe I actually DO this. DR. came through and there I was rounding the corner, said I was the first he ever saw who actually did walk regularly.
Still hate it--ugh, its time to get shoes on and get out. At least its not so hot today, only 61 degrees instead of the upper 70's and NOT as HUMID!

I hate to exercise just like everyone else but I have joined Curves and go almost every day and just started back on the ADA eating plan since my DH is diabetic and he needs to lose a lot of weight too. Curves is a great place to catch up on the local gossip while exercising.

I don't like to go to a gym. Never belonged to one and never will. I like to walk outside, that really clears my head and makes me feel good. I walk the dog every morning at 6:00 or 6:30 a.m. before it gets too hot. I also like to do exercise videos at home.

going with a friend sounds like the best idea -- Abby the Labby needs to use 3 lbs. but I just can't seem to get going to really walk her -- too hot!-- she's happy with short walks up and down the street twice a day to check out her domain!

I have to invent a reason to exercise because I find the whole gym scene incredibly boring.I don't mind exercising if there is a reason. Therefore,I will park my car at the other end of the shopping street to where I have to go,and walk back and forth.Mall walking(i.e. window shopping) is a favourite of mine as I don't have to worry about the weather whilst I walk around.I fell over when I last went exercising, and hurt my leg so badly that the Doc. says it will take 4 years to heal - so perhaps that's why I hate exercise as well...lol.Try to find excuses to exercise and see if it gets better for you.
