I have misplaced, lost or thrown away the dongle to my software for my embroidery machine. We moved a few months ago and many thing have fallen into these categories. I have looked several times where I think it should be and many times where I was just hoping it might be. While we were in the moving process, my husband would walk around mumbling,"I had no idea she had so much stuff". He still hasn't recovered. The house is full, the basement is full and we rented a warehouse. Of course he had a lot of treasures also. We moved from a working farm to a house in the city:( I know the minute I replace it (around $450.) I will find the missing one, oh well ...

OH, So glad to know it happens to others. If anyone finds 4 yards of off white fabric I know who it belongs too. That group I started for childrens charity was given a large piece. I soaked /washed it took it to the hall and now can not find it. Looked under my bed, all thru my stash and every box we have stored at church basement. How can a piece that big not be found. Actually it was sewn together in the center so it should be easy to identify. I hate looking for misplaced things. It is needed -NOW !
    Good luck with SD card.

The newspaper this morning. I put it on my desk and then started cleaning my desk. I had only partially read the Sunday paper, so when I gathered them up as part of the clean up to read later, I put today's paper inside them as "part of the sections." Didn't realize that until I went looking. I had gotten up and done something else in between, not counting getting up early (for me) and didn't really pay attention except for the fact it was all newsprint. :)

When I do loose something, I try to backtrack where I have been around that time.

What I hate is when you see something else while looking for something and then when you need that something else you can't remember where you saw it.

I think the most frustrating part of OUR forgetfulness is that we USED to be able to remember where we put things ~ ~ ~
