I have my mom's old Faberware and use it when we have power outages. I also use an enamel one for camping. Does it taste better? Hmmmm. I think so.

I use a electric percolator every day, hubby dosent care for coffee from a coffeemaker. He says it isnt hot enough. I got myself one of those nice keurig coffee makers, Where you can make one cup at a time. I still have to make his percolated coffee. lol.

I have a couple of those in different sizes. I use them occasionally just for the fun of it and especially when the power is out.

The sound and smell of coffee perking on the stove is what I grew up with too. :)

I drink expresso and use an Italian machine. My sister drinks perculator coffee and won't use anything else. I bought her a new one for Christmas.

I have a Lifetime coffee maker. You put the grounds in the top part and pour boiling water in it. Good coffee, Iu se it when we have a power outage. We used to have a pecolator coffee maker when I was younger. The coffee was pretty strong.

We use a percolator on our camp stove when camping. Works great, I just dont drink the last sip- full of grounds and I don't really enjoy chewing my morning cup....
