I love that show, especially when they catch something that can't be explained. My sister loves it too and we're going to one of their events! It's in April at the The Mount Washington Hotel in New Hampshire. We have the event tickets, room and flight booked and we're staying one night at Jason and Grant's hotel, The Stanley Inn.

All the TAPS people are going to be there and they'll have lectures and ghost hunts. I think it will be fun. :-D

I watch the show for the plumbing and electrical explanations. Cracks me up. "People report feeling creepy here... yeah, high EMFs."

I read some people's experiences at a Ghost Hunters event held at the Stanley Hotel a few years back. The hotel in Colorado that inspired the Shining not the one they own. Sounded like fun. Enjoy yourself.

I don't watch the shows, but the commercials crack me up. It seems that most of the time, they wind themselves up the wall (scare themselves)....

I've been in haunted places; it's really not that scary.

I love that show!!! I just love the fact that Dave is afraid of everything but ghosts...I saw his melt down over flying and I thought to myself...dude, you chase dead people!

That's Steve. Dave Tango is the little guy. Steve's got some serious phobia issues but is crazy about cats. That's another funny thing about the show. "Here Kitty, Kitty..."

Also funny that Steve hates bugs and spiders and he is always daring Dave to go into crawl spaces and stuff or, "I'll give you 20 bucks to go in there."

If your DH loves the show then he probably knows the Mt. Washington Inn. It's where the woman's voice was recorded really clear saying, "of course I'm here, where are you?"

You lucky duck! I love that show! I'm glad they got rid of Brian Harnois tho.

Isn't the Stanley hotel where the shinning was filmed?
