I have my info now to send my fat (skinny quarter) of flowers in. I am excited to be in again. I also have a lot of weight to lose. I will just be glad to lose any I can to be healthier, and to fit better in my clothes. I would love one day to be at a ideal weight, but that has been such a long time ago. I can hope though.

I weighed this morning, and have it recorded. I am back to counting my calories, because for me with issues that is the only way for me to lose weigh. I can't exercise much, but hope as I lose that might change where I could do some. I did try to do some range of motion exercises when I woke up today. I have to start somewhere.

Last night I seen a toast treat that sounded good to me for eating healthy so I have it down.
' Piece of toast (for me I prefer whole wheat) a teaspoon of cream cheese spread across the toast, and thin slices of cucumber on top of that, with a thin slice of lean turkey.' I love cucumbers. I have got to get to the store to pick up some things.

Today I did a bit of piecing on a lap quilt for my dad who is in a nursing home. I want to work some more on it later today too. It's just simple pieced 5" squares to make 4 patched blocks, but I love the fabric. I am using darker green solid, with green and turquoise with bits of white print. I didn't want it too light with him using it, but I think he will like it.

Have a great day everyone, and good luck on your healthy eating.

Here's another one to try, Susan. My daughter got hooked on these while living in France. Spread cottage cheese on a piece of toast and then top with radish slices. Very yummy!
I would like to be at my goal by October. My son is getting married in China. I'm sure Chinese people think all Americans are overweight. I want to show them otherwise. I've got 6 months to lose 30 lbs. That should be doable.

Good luck with healthy eating and exercise, everyone! I'm in, I'll try to get FQs in the mail next week; I'll have to see what I have in the cupboard for the colors/patterns. I have a weight figure in mind but it's not set in stone. I'm more trying to eat healthier and get in better shape.

I will post the march winner tomorrow. Right now we have a tie. If you haven't PM'd me you loss don't forget to send it.
I am trying to eat healthier too. I like toast with a little bit of FF cottage cheese. Top with sugar and cinnamon. It doesn't need much sugar. Put it under the broiler until bubbly. Tastes almost like cheesecake. I haven't tried it with splenda.

I wasn't able to get my FQ's out this week. I am leaving town tomorrow for 10 days. I won't be home until the 15th. They will be late. I am sorry.

I am doing well with my eating. The scale is slowly moving downward.
Today I am not feeling that great. I've had a little cough for a few days but today I feel drained. I have so much to get done and am also hosting Easter dinner this afternoon (cause tomorrow we leave in the afternoon to drive to Texas to visit my FIL)
Eating clean this next 10 days will be difficult. It is a 2, full, day drive to Austin from here, then going to San Angelo and then back home. Traveling with a 3 y/o and a 10 month should make the trip even more interesting. Driving with my daughter and husband. All my other children and grands will be flying into San Angelo to spend time with their grandfather. It will be great to have them all together!

Gayle, I have a cough too. Have had it for about a week then nose started running a couple of days ago. Last night I took a store brand nyquill. Slept for 9 hours! Much better today. Hopefully it will be gone in a day or 2. Safe travels. The drive could be even longer than expected with the littles along. At least it will probably feel like it!

Pam thanks for that recipe. It does sound yummy. My husband picked up some cottage cheese too. Yesterday we both went too long before getting some more food that was healthier so I went over my goal for the day, but today back on track.

Everyone that may be traveling take care and be safe.
