Lynne, my "big" day is 4/12. 1 week from next Tuesday, and it can't get here fast enough for me. I am so tired of all this pain. I just popped 2 pain pills about 1/2 hr ago. They should hit soon. I'm about to make spaghetti for dinner and then I'm off the leg the rest of the night. I hope you have a good weekend. Hugs, Sandy

To the ladies who told me to bookmark this page so I could get back to it, thank you. I know that somewhere in the back of my mind under a roll of fat, I should have known that.

Got off to a rousing good start on my weight loss. Cereal and fruit for breakfast and then sweet heart of mine took me to the catfish diner for lunch. Maybe if I do fruit and cereal for supper, it won't wreck too much havoc but it sure was good. I do promise to do better this month.

I'm not playing again this month. I have increased my calorie intake and have slowed my weight loss to about 4 pounds a month. I want to lose 30 more pounds, but I'm tired of a highly restricted diet, to continue to lose weight at the rate I was, I would have to cut to around 800 calories. So I figure a pound a week is great. When it gets a bit warmer I could increase my exercise and maybe speed things up a bit.

I am happy with how far I have come. I have maintained a healthy eating regiment for about one year now! I have not binged once this year (unless you count overeating on salad.) This is a real milestone for me, I would eat thousands of calories in a sitting. This year my highest caloric intake was about 2,400 calories.

For those of you who sent me CarolJ's winning FQ's...

Here is the baby quilt I made for Brayden. Brayden is the new son of a teenage mom. I made this little layette out of the assorted FQ's sent.

There are 4 bibs, (lined), 2 receiving blankets, 6 burp cloths, one quilt, and 3 winter sleepers. Brayden is now 4 weeks old. His father is absent from the picture, and his grandfather died unexpectedly the day before he was born. His mom is unemployed and had to drop out of high school, his grandmother is a waitress.

I have another package I'm working on for Brayden, to be delivered in about a month. It will have a few summer outfits, in addition to another quilt, etc. I am trying to make a diaper bag but it is giving me fits! LOL!
