I've been locked out all day. Wanted to post earlier. Have no idea what the deal is...
I just got a new table top! I went to a salvage guy and bought a new oval dining room table top and leaf for $20. It's really beautiful, all stained and ready to use. DH will put legs on it for me and I'll have a table in my kitchen!

I know Missy isn't in the challenage but I promised 10 FQs if she met her goal so she could have her surgery. There. Were others who promised to send FQs too. I think we would all like to know how she is doing. ?issy get that turtle out of your mouth and talk to us.

MJ, your table sounds good. I gave my kitchen table to my daughter. I wanted to move my computer because the bedroom it was in was too cold. I had several tables and my daughter had four children at home and no table at all. I do miss it for sewing. I hate having scissors and such around a good wooden table. Besides, it was much bigger for dealing with pinning quilts. Ah, well, it was my idea.

I just called Missy. Her mom is getting ready for another surgery this week. They have a massive snow storm. She weighs in tomorrow.
