I have had to do this with my DH when it comes to shoes and clothing. How many pairs of shoes does a person need?

lol Same here, I always thought it was women who had more shoes/boots than necessary, not in this house.

Ok, so I didn't lose any weight last week. Started out really strong but ending giving in to carb gravings. Time to try again. All of you who were going to slap the snot out of all of us slackers - go to it. Ouch!

Linda, have all your carbs by noon or so and eat only fat burning foods in the PM. That way you can still have the carbs. I have a list from a diet book if you're interested.

Carrie/Trupeach, some people who feed their dogs raw carry a tarp in the trunk of their car for roadkill. I can't bring myself to even consider doing that. Even if I could pick it up, I'd have to cut up the germy thing. Yeesh.

Funny Celery is one of the few vegetables I like. These days I am almost eating a bunch of it ever other day!! I must admit tho IF I ever loose this weight I don't think I ever want to see another stalk of celery!!!

Yes! Most of them. I don't like celery(I can't spell). It has got to be the worst tasting veggie ever.

I am remembering why I quit working out. After doing all this cleaning I am in PAIN. My right hip really hurts and my burcitis is killing me. All I have left to do is vacuum one room and some laundry and I'm done. We will see tomorrow if we pass inspection.
I actually have two grown daughters and three grandsons. Can you believe it?!?! LOL!

You do not look old enough to have grown kids let alone grandchildren. I swear you look half my age.

I am in my 40s. I look young but am really ancient! LOL!

Irish, I'd like to have a list. Is there an easy way to send it?
    What book is this from?

For Linda, The book is the The Skinny Pill by Edita Kaye, circa 1999. The book was purchased with a diet supplement, but the concept works without it, too. I need to reread it for a refresher. Lots of good ideas, recipes and exercise plans.
