I've lost the weight, the foot on the floor was a joke. It was actually weighing naked with my hand on the wall.
    Now you're just confusing me!

Yes, write EVERYTHING down, but I don't think coffee counts as breakfast. (altho I am guilty of just that)

some weeks when I weigh in I don't have my hand on the wall I smash my head against the wall at how stupid could have have been to have gotten so fat and it is taking so long to lose.
Tru, those are the weeks I usually avoid the scale all together. Shame on me.

I thought you didn't feel pain with water exercise, I felt good during the hour of exercise but about two hours later I started to get real sore and stiff. I found muscles I didn't know I had! I'm going to keep going though and pray that it gets better. The other days I'm going to just lap swim or walk.

Haven't reweighed myself yet so I'm not sure if I lost any more weight, just trying to get started on an eating and exercise plan. My doctor sent me to a RN Diabetic Specialist and a diatition. They said I should eat five small meals a day and exercise regularly. If I stick to that my blood sugars stay stable. I just wish I would loose more weight.

Prayers to everyone hope you all have better day today.
Jeanne, I am looking forward to the pool in our subdivision opening next month. My knee was terrible last year before the Synvisc injections in October, so I did not go much. That will change this year!

Eating five times daily is doable. I have faith in you.

I just got some news on Sandy from her DD.
Between Sandy's sleep apnea and pain meds Sandy quit breathing twice. The Dr. adjusted the meds and she is breathing better now.

Sandy can't have much pain med's so they are keeping her sleeping as much as possible. Sound like Sandy needs some prayers right now.

I started running the other day. I can only go about a 1/4 mile, but at least it's a start. I was cycling, but I was always by myself. At least when I walk, then run I can take the dog. I'll continue to cycle, but this adds another layer to my exercise routine.

The running is a bit painful as I have nerve damage in one foot, and that same foot has had the tendons reattached. I have a pin in it holding things togethor. But I figure it's going to hurt if I run or if I don't.

Plus, the running gives me another exercise to do. They say you need to mix up your exercise as your body becomes accustomed to the same routine and your weight loss will slow. It's best to change things around a bit. AND, my remaining dog is happy to get out!
