I just made a zebra striped one with a hot pink boa trim for a bridal shower. It was a huge hit!

I have a whole collection of apron patterns, some of them just on newspaper. My favourite is the Church Ladies apron by Mary Mulari already mentioned on this thread. Her patterns are very well written and easy to follow. I make my aprons all reversible and won Viewer's choice in the apron contest at my LQS. I made 10 aprons for a local cooking/baking group and they want ten more. I find aprons a nice break sometimes when I am between quilts.

I have an old 4-H sewing book with a simple apron pattern in it that I want to use. Also have cute kids' fabric for some variations on play kitchen/craft aprons and need to get sewing!

ME....I use D rings on the neck strap though...that way they are adjustable for everyone and will not catch hair, easy to hang up, etc..
