I think their plan is to clear an area for a camping spot and a fire pit. There are a lot of smaller trees coming up and it looks like they care cutting these down. We will see, There is no one there yet today. The sad thing is,is that there is no access to this spot. The road was cut down years ago and it is on top of a bank. It is on a little two track road so not even a safe place to park off the road right in that spot. I guess I am just used to being by myself out here, maybe getting stubborn in my old age! LOL

I'm firm believer in the saying "strong fences make good neighbors"! Best of luck on this.

Ah neighbors!!! Our one neighbor has all of the water that drains off his roof going into plastic piping and ending at the edge of our properties so that the water pours out onto our driveway. He keeps saying that it is the "natural" flow of the water. Yeah, if you want to call putting in pipes "natural". So, my husband called the county to make sure it was legal to build a berm and then did so. Now when it rains hard, the neighbor has a pond on his side. I never understand why people act this way. They need to look up the word "neighbor" in the dictionary. Hope it all works out for you as your little camper sure looks like a great retreat.

Your little hide-away is the cutest thing,no wonder you love it. Maybe they will only come out to their camp site on some weekends, so you will still have peace and quit.
IF they cut down the trees on their property, start planting a LOT on your side. :D

Man some of you find old posts!! I have not seen then yet this spring, They may be here Memorial Weekend but we will be gone to my sons wedding in Ohio. Guess they won't be borrowing the rake, shovel or anything this trip! I have already spend two nights back at my little hide away, so relaxing but one night it was only 32 degrees I did not want to crawl out from under my warm quilt! I do not have electricity or heat back there.

I agree they own the little piece they bought no question about that! It is just a small spot not big enough for a house or anything other than a small camper I just do not like that they were complaining about my little retreat in the woods. There is no way for them to get anything up there except maybe a tent at this point. I am not to worried about them they seem to want to be in the big city more than here anyway. My Sister in law now owns the rest of the corner.
