Nutra system is all about portion size- I knew someone on that kind of program I would be hungry if I hate 1/4 of a cheap TV dinner 3X a day Gosh after a few days I would have a free meal! Same idea just no support person behind it.

Did you come up with that?
No, someone else said it first but I like it. I did, however, tell my sister that when your butt's as big as mine within ten steps even granny panties become a thong. She got really embarrassed but the check out ladies in JC Pennys were cracking up.

Many years ago, I did a wt loss program where you had to drink their supplements and buy their meals...it was a HUGE drain on my finances...you were sucked in before you realized it and couldn't get out. Anyway, one evening I had heated up my meal and, of course, made real (and tasty) food for the rest of the family. My meal was sitting on a plate on the counter and my DH came in from outside and, to be helpful, picked up my plate of food and asked if I wanted the scraps put in the garbage!!! It was my meal. And he thought it was the garbage. You know, that is what it looked (and tasted) like. I quit the program shortly after that.

Although I need to lose wt, I really believe that getting exercise, watching portion size, and drinking more water is what people really need to do. And, also eat your larger meal at noon instead of in the evening. Of course, do I do what I am suggesting...no. :)

I am sick and tired of everyone telling me what to eat. I love the one where they eat cookies and loose all that weight. The same guy looks like the one who does the JK Harris commercial and he does not look any thinner to me.

I am a believer in having a healthy weight whatever the lb. number is, a lot or a little. Being overweight just adds to many health problems and causes a great many of them. To me being overweight is like having a bad sore on my body, I will treat the sore and do what I need to to get it cured. Same with my weight. I will do what I need to do to keep my weight where it is best for me. I don't like not eating that cookie but I tell myself to get over it and go on.

I agree with everyone's comments. I think I will get up and dance around the room during every weight commercial.
