    Subject: FW: Aspirin

    1. if you take an aspirin or a baby aspirin once a day, take it at night. the reason: aspirin has a 24-hour "half-life". therefore, if most heart attac ks happen in the wee hours of the morning, the aspirin would be strongest in your system.

    2. fyi, aspirin lasts a really long time in your medicine chest.. years. (when it gets old, it smells like vinegar.)

    please read on.

WHY ASPIRIN BY YOUR BED saves lives ....

It is important to always have ASPIRIN in the home!!!

Why have Aspirin by your bedside ?

    ABOUT HEART ATTACKS

There are other symptoms of an heart attack besides the pain on the left arm.

One must also be aware of an intense pain on the chin, as well as nausea and lots of sweating,
however thes e symptoms may also occur less frequently.

NOTE : There may be no pain in the chest during a heart attack.

The majority of people (about 60%) who had a heart attack during their sleep, did not wake up. However, if it occurs, the chest
pain may wake you up from your deep sleep.

If that happens, IMMEDIATELY DISSOLVE TWO ASPIRINS IN YOUR MOUTH and swallow them with a bit of water.

Afterwards, phone a neighbour or a family member who lives very close by and state "HEART ATTACK!!!"
and that you have taken 2 ASPIRINS

Take a seat on a chair or sofa and wait for their arrival and ....

    DO NOT LIE DOWN !!!

I don't know about you, but I'm using my phone call to dial 911, not a neighbor. The neighbor might want me to die so they don't have to return my hedgeclippers.

My Dr. told me to take the low dosage aspirin at bedtime. It's odd that all Drs don't recommend this. I wonder why, the info seems to be important to know.

Rule #1: don't lend your hedgeclippers.

Don't take asprin unless your dr says to other medications and thing about your body may not go together. I know a blood pressue pill i take says do not take this with reg asprin on a daily basis
. Its still a good idea to have them if you experience chest pain
