Glassnquilts, your salsa look beautiful. And, of course, healthy and calorie free. Good work.

Here is the quilt I started monday afternoon and finished tuesday night. Now I need to decide whether to send it out for quilting or do it myself and if the latter, how. I already cut yellow for the binding but after putting in the flange of yellow, I'm thinking the black might be better. Opinions?

I like the yellow binding. Your quilt top is so cute.

I like the yellow binding idea also. Wish I could finish a quilt that quick. Between work, kids, my long commute and, of course, this board, I am lucky to put in any time on my quilting. I am working on one for my older son now--I need to get my bottom in gear and get it done before he dies of old age.

I agree. A little more yellow would be pretty.

Love that quilt. I'd quilt it wiht swirling vine patterns similar to those in the black fabric!

Been having a lucky week. Almost back to my original 2 lbs lost! So I know I"m out of the running this month but maybe not, if I can really kick it up a notch or two!

    RECIPE:
Here's a quick "Dessert" for all those chocoholics like me out there. One of the things I struggle with is my chocolate cravings! So one night I sat down with a bannana and cut it up into slices then measured out a 1 Tbsp of chocolate syrup and poured it on top! Satisfied my cravings and it's only 150 calories! Thought I'd pass it along for those who need that fix of chocolate!

I love the quilt and I agree that a little more yellow would be nice. How do you get your quilts done so fast. Perhaps you'd like to come to WI and teach me how?

Well ladies I'm depressed. My walking buddy and good friend is moving out of town tomorrow. She is moving closer to where she goes for dialysis and I understand her need but I'm still sad. She will be living in the next town down the road so I can still see her sometimes. We are planning to meet every Thurs for brunch but I'm afraid that those plans might not work out.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers for my medical sisuation. Please keep up the good work.

I'm trying to get motivated to start walking again (by myself). The doc wants 30 min of exercise per day and swimming is questionable because with the hypoglycemia I get light headed and sometimes disoriented so they aren't so sure they want me in the water.

Well, I think I'll go work on my paper piecing. I'm getting good at pp the trees for my Seasons of Change quilt but I'm not sure I've learned the technique well enough to use in a different design. Anybody have any simple pp patterns. I want to make something small to practice the technique.

God Bless everyone. Have a great day and know my prayers are with you.

My favorite sweets recipe is I container of fat free plain yogurt mixed with sugar free cheesecake pudding mix and 1 tsp apple pie spice. Great for dipping apple slices in.
