Irishrose....You are right on point....everybody has to choose what works for them. What works for one may not work for another. Of all the different types of "diets" I am reading about on here, that seem to be working, I ask each of you....

Is this how you want to eat the rest of your life? Can you stay on this "diet" and be satisfied?

Me.....I need three meals a day and three snacks. I use MyFitnes Pal to log all my food and exercise and before I have dinner in the evenings I check to see how many calories I have left and plan my dinner around that. There have been a few times all I could eat was a large salad....but I love salads.

Answer: Yes, I can live with two meals a day and snacks. I have for years when my weight was normal and for years before that when I fought to hold my weight. I can remember in high school being forced to eat breakfast. Did my mother know I was slipping it to the dog? No, it wouldn't have been allowed.

amBoo, you're not droning, just educating us. I used MFP yesterday for the first time. I found it a little tedious putting in ingredients for dinner, but it will get faster.

Where are my manners? This is my second post and I haven't said good morning - or actually afternoon. How about G'day, all.

Sunday is our weigh in day -- Ed lost 2 lbs and I lost 1 !!! Last week we both were at a plateau. I can really see the difference in him. So rewarding when there are visible results.

Yeah, mim. If you can see the difference, there are probably more inches than pounds gone. Did you measure before you started? I did, but I've mislaid the scrap of paper it's on.

Okay, boot me off here. I didn't get all the flowers deadheaded, my room is a mess and two quilts are calling. Plus, dogs to walk and one says, "Walk". Why did I ever teach her to talk?

I can see the difference on him -- and I didn't dare measure the pot -- it would have been too embarassing. I know I have dropped a cup size -- and that's NOT where I wanted to lose. LOL I don't "see" myself in a mirror -- but DH says I look better. He's a sweetie

Note to self - do not tell My Fitness Pal that the report is complete until you have logged your exercise. I couldn't go back to change it, so now they think I'm a lazy slug. I'll have to add it to tomorrow's as the goal is by the week, not daily.

For me, another day of clean eating. Maybe there is something to having to report it after all.

    G'night, all.
