I have not changed mine since joining. It is my maine coon cat Finnegan when he was between 5 and 6 month old kitten. It was the most convenient picture at hand when I joined up. Otherwise, I may not have been able to choose easily which fur kid became my avatar. BTW that cat is probably close to 30lb now. I call him my fat boy but he is also a really big Maine Coon . When he lays on me his body can easily go from knee to chest. Its like having a lion living in the house, especially litter box cleaning time :shock:

Mine is a picture my husband found on-line soon after we became the proud parents of two beagles. The avatar is not one of my dogs, but I really like the picture. It's also my screen saver at work.
