My totally blind rescued collie is mine. He captured my heart the day he came into the shelter (ok, it was actually about two days later when nobody claimed him and I gave him a bath to rid him of the caked on mud and grease) where I used to work and he is a joy and treasure. Very loyal, loves to run and play, plays hard with our other dog and I never grow tired of watching how he manages himself. He loves to throw a toy in the air and 9 times out of ten will go right where it lands. You can just see the joy on his face. In summer he can run like a deer and when he gets too close to a tree or such, all I have to yell is 'easy' and he turns linstantly.

Mine is Van Gogh's Starry Night...I love Vincent's work and this is my favourite. My husband recently painted a small version for me and I intend (one day!) to try and capture it in quilt form. I probably won't change it, and do tend to get to "know" avatars rather than names, love how everyone has a story or a snapshot of their lives and loves.

I'm plain lazy....
my avatar is the first picture I found when I looked through my quilt pictures
it's a Raggedy Heart quilt block, the actual quilt is still a UFO......
the original pattern used country/Thimbleberries, this is my OMG Bright!! period
