Awesome quilts on tv show
Today I was watching "Tanked"? where they build fish tanks for people all over the world.
I saw some awesome quilts hanging and on the sofa of a home where the owners had a fish tank made especially for their prize cat. The company altered an old tv and radio set to fit a tank in the center. Up top on one side the kitty had a special bed and water/food bowls on the other. Were they called stereo consoles back in the 'olden days'? LOL, I'm dating myself.
This cat, had a french name,[Anrea} and was used in tv commercials. Black and white and apparently trained well enough he could afford to be lavished on.
I do not know how old the episode was but I believe the house was in Seattle.
Have you seen any real quilts in tv shows that are outstanding?

I'm always noticing quilts in movies and TV. More than once inspiration has struck and I've grabbed my graph paper and made some notes! Also drew up the tile pattern from the Titanic as a block while watching the movie in a theater.
I watch a lot of the home buying shows (you know, they tour 3, pick one) and can always tell the homes of quilters as opposed to those that are merely staged with quilts. And we all know that the "bonus room" is really the sewing room...

I've copied a couple. 'Friendly Persuasion', she's carrying a Chimney Sweep after spending a night in the barn with her husband. Double X, the muleskinner on 'Dances with Wolves'. And 'Alias Grace' has several I've put in the queue.
