Thank you Ditter. Moose are my fave beast. I was taking pictures of a mother and newborn in Wyoming,when a Park Ranger called out to me to back up very slowly until he told me to turn around. I did and he took me back to the station and showed me pictures of what happens when you get between mom and babe, Not pretty! Basically, you become one big greese spot. Their hooves are like knives and they don't stop until there is no visible movement. But I still got great pictures.

Thanks once again to you for finding the best stuff!
When I was in CO in June an elk was in the neighborhood. DGD's house backs to a school sports field and an elk knocked down a fence panel 3 doors up. Of course by the time the authorities arrived they got to chase it through an adjoining neighborhood.
