Yes, the ol' "tortured" rose garden! I don't water, can't remember the last time I put rose food down, and since I'm allergic to those thorns, I let someone else do all the trimming. (One little scratch = scarred for life)

Anyway, I was getting ready to go to work yesterday morning & was putting my trash out for the trash guys when I saw these! We've had no rain to speak of since I-don't-know-when, and I think it was only 2 weeks ago that it was pushing 100+ degrees, but these roses perservere!

    Enjoy!

The roses sure are pretty! Now, my roses look like they're tortured! You have beautiful colors - very vivid.

Beautiful! My Favorites are the 3rd one down and the very last one. It looks like you put glitter on them!

    So shiny! :D

The third one down is - well, was - a miniature when I first moved into the place 15 years ago. I don't know the names of any of them, but that one is the only single rose, & so old fashioned looking. :D The last one truly is a mini, only gets about 12" - 14" tall & that red is SOOOO bright! The picture doesn't do it justice! We've had a bit of an "on-shore" flow the last few days, so it was a tiny bit damp in the morning. I didn't even notice the dew sparkles until I downloaded the pics to the computer!
