Barbie Clothes
Christmas is coming and I have been making Barbie clothes for one of my great-grandaughters and found this site that I thought perhaps a few of you wouldn't know of..
http://www.stickatillbarbie.se/
Dozens and dozens of Barbie patterns in several different languages are offered - click on the language of your choice.
What fiddley things these are to make!!! Six outfits and glad I am done as I was heading for the nearest looney bin!! (grin)...

Omgoodness, I just started sewing 18" doll clothes. I can't imagine sewing Barbie clothes. You are one awesome Grandma. I know your granddaughter will love and treasure your gift.
That sight is awesome. There are some darling clothes to be made!

No Barbie clothes for me -- fingers and hands are not so nimble anymore--nice site though ! When girls were little, we would buy from craft fair--a group of sisters made all kinds of them so we always had a lot of nice Barbie clothes.

I would never make Barbi cloths. Thank goodness no nieces. I always thought that there must be a special place in heaven for those that made Babri cloths. Soooo much work!! And what about knitted sweaters, crazy small work!

When my sister and I were young, right round the Ice Age, my maternal grandmother made us Barbie clothes. She had three patterns, pants, a simple shirt and circle skirts. She made them in dozens of different fabrics. And one suit for Ken. He had that suit, a tux and the painted on shorts he came with.

It's very nice that you have shared the link.
I learned to sew making Barbie clothes. I was 8 at the time and the store bought clothes for her cost more than mine. And since my mother sewed clothes for my sisters and me, we had scraps she allowed me to use. My BF's mother had the patterns she let us use. (My BF's mother mades such beautiful Barbie clothes, I still have one. And a couple of the ones I made. Let's just say there is no question which was which.) :-)
I have toyed with the idea of making some clothes for my niece's American Girl dolls but so far decided I should stick with quilting.

Love the stickatillbarbie website, but isn't it all knitted clothing? Are your six outfits knitted? If so, I'd love to know what yarn you used. I can't knit very much because of my right thumb, but if I don't do much at a time I can still do it.
