I used to wash my cats - back before they have the nice, convenient flea medicines. What worked best was to do it in the basement. Fill both tubs with cat-body-temperature water, soap up in one and then you can quickly transfer to the rinse tub. I found there was less fighting if the water was the right temperature.
A wet cat always looks so puny and sad, though!

Awesome cats! My 5 cats have never been bathed. They may get a spot cleaned once in a blue moon but they do well on their own and are combed all the time. All but one are short haired. They do go out in the fenced back yard but their flea/tick/mite meds work beautifully and none of them even know what a flea is- thank goodness! I do worry that they may need one sometime and I bet it will be a huge undertaking! Good Luck at the show and let us know how they do! I love cat shows.
