I am guessing you have a new Nikon camera. Lovely shots. Yes, there is strength in your black & white shot; beauty contrast there. You lead the viewer into the picture and your picture is divided into thirds, the way I was taught.

those are great! i missied a great photo opportunity this morning. went out to cut a hybiscus for the house and a huge butterfly was right in the center of one.
my camera was downstairs. went and got it but the butterfly was gone! sigh.

Nikon COOLPIX S6100. Its $189 at Wal-Mart. A bit pricey, but it is SO well worth it. I'm hoping I can get some cool shots with it when I go see Kittie next weekend.
