The only place we see that kind of scenery here in Georgia is in our dreams! Thanks for sharing the picture!

We got a few inches in Los Anchorage. The forecast is for it to turn around and get warm. Chinooks bring wet warm air which will make it, well, icky.

A week ago Monday, school should have been closed. (freezing rain) Then they closed it Tuesday and Wednesday (shouldn't have on Wednesday). I took a nasty fall on Monday and am still feeling it. I can't sit or lay on my back for any length of time at all. Ouch!

Wow, loved seeing the picture. Can't even imagine that, as I have lived in Calif. all my life. I wanted to go out this morning but it is ony 52 outside so I changed my mind and stayed in. If I lived there I would probably be a winter hermit. Stay safe, it looks dangerous.

WOW! We are expecting flurries maybe tonight but our ground is so warm- it won't stick. I'm just impressed it will even fall here so early. Of course it hasn't happened yet...

Expecting snow here starting later this evening, but nothing compared to what you're getting. Good luck and be careful on that ice.

We had our first snow of the year today. It was so beautiful. My friend, her daugter and I were making christmas cookies today so the snow just made it that more special.
