Kansas is beautiful in the fall - lots of fall festivals to attend. The "turning of the maple trees" in October is a sight to see - makes for a great road trip in our "Flint Hills".

East TN is beautiful in the fall. The mountains are aflame with colors. Of course, you have to put up with crowds of people who are there for the same reason! I like the spring. We have dogwoods and pretty beds of daffodils and tulips and azaleas. You can start in west TN and make your way across the state following the dogwoods. The winter brings a special type of beauty to the mountains when all the leaves are gone and the evergreens stand out. We don't have a lot of snow, so you can get around easily. Summers are hot, hazy and humid. End of travelogue! I love TN.

I think the best time to visit western Nevada is mid-late September. The weather is beautiful with days in the 70's-80's, nights are cool in the 50's and there are generally no winds. The kids are back in school so there are fewer people on the roads, but the attractions are pretty much all still open.

When fall comes, we have leaves of every color.

In the winter, it's depressing. Not much snow. Just gray skies and dead plants.
I agree ! One note being a transplant to IL from New York State- New York State is fabulous in the summer , but the fall in New York --- It is breathtaking .... I miss it.

Arizona is beautiful year round, depending on what part of the state you are visiting! Tucson and Phoenix are best in November. Northern AZ is beautiful all the time - in the summer it's cooler and green (providing no fires, that is) and in the winter it has snow. The Grand Canyon is beautiful no matter what time of year it is - the views change constantly. I love it in the fall or spring when the crowds are gone. One year, we went in March. It snowed 18 inches overnight, but by noon, the snow was gone and the canyon was absolutely gorgeous!

I'd say March-April for the flowers, then Sept-Oct-Nov for the foliage...

Well I guess the only really good time to visit here is in the Winter months. Unless you like it HOT!
