Geez sometime I wonder if I should ever even get out of bed in the morning. I started off having to rip out a couple of rows of my last quilt top, which is nothing unusual, but I fixed it and finally like the results, will post another time. Deceided not to quilt anymore but go to my LQS and use my remaining gift certificate of $50.00. Well I got out of the car went to walk in and boom did a splat at the entrance. This is a store that recently moved to a new location and I did not see for the life of me the cement things with the stripes on them so you won't miss them and fell over it. Geeeez, picked my sorry blind self up with a bruise on my elbow and my shouder and went in. Proceeded to spend money with someone that is never nice to me. I don't know why but everytime I go in he has a funny attitude towards me. I like the shop but not him, I spent $41. over the $50 and excited to make my 1st bow tuck. Got the pattern. Than came home and received my 3 feet I ordered for my new Singer 301. Tried all of them but one does not work. I bought a 1/4 foot and it gives me a little over 1/8. Crap, double crap. Lately everything I buy is bad. I now have to send it back with more shipping and they will send me another.
OK now for the better part, I also bought a 1/4 hemmer foot and it works like a charm, want to make a lot of napkins and it works way better than the 1/8th foot. But Bezinga!!! I also bought a darning foot for my 301 and after 1/2 hour of playing with it to get it on right, I made a quilt sandwich and played free motion with it. OH MY GOSH!!!! What beautiful stitches, I may get the hang of this yet. Works way better than my Janome 6600 even with the special foot and bobbin. This machine sews free motion like a dream, took a bit to get use to the fact the foot does not touch the fabric, but I took off and not one streched stitch on the back side. Everyone was perfect. Oh well I'm glad I got up this morning, now I'm taking my sore self to the Kitchen and mixing myself a drink and going to lick my wounds, elbow, shoulder and neck is now hurting too. But it was not ones fault except my own. Bezinga to a great day after all.

We all seem to have some days that nothing seems to go right & it is very frustrating. Keep your chin up & move ahead. You know you have all of us behind you. Take care
