Did you ever hear of thunder snow before?

its actually really really cool. I have seen thunder snow three times since living in MO. we ended up getting officially 12" and I heard that in some places the drifts were almost 10' in places. that is just nuts.

Well I hate to burst everyones bubble, but the temperature today here in Florida was 75 and couldy. We are suppost to get rain on wednesday and turning what they call cold 65 for a high. But you what! I came from Glenview, Illinois N.W.. of Chicago in 1965 and I still miss snow. So keep the pictures coming. Thats the only way I get to see snow.

It was in the mid 50's here today, and I feel so guilty feeling cold.

20" of snow in Owasso - just outside Tulsa. State record. Really cold - 10 with a wind chill of -8. Supposed to get to 0 overnight. Nice being snowed in and cozy. But I hope people don't try to get out tomorrow.

I am almost ashamed to say it is sunny and 55 degrees here. We seem to have misplaced winter this year.

Just west of OKC with snow drifts all across the driveway. DH and I are both down with a cold. Can't even get to the drs. their offices are closed because of the weather. Hope we can get help tomorrow.

I'm snowed in with 22.5 inches of snow. Outside everything is just big white lumps.. Can't see out our 2nd floor windows for the snow built up and drifted on top of the porch roof! DH just said the thermoguesser said it's 1 degree outside.. Does it sound like I'm complaining?? not a chance.. I have power, so I have heat, and I can run my sewing machine.. I think it's wonderful!!
