    Craftybear is available for everything and anything and believe it or not, she isn't afraid to ask for help or ask questions when she needs to. Good job, Karen, I'm all for naming a day after you!!!

    Yes I do sleep but last night we had a storm here in central Indiana and my new dog, Sophie is scared of storms so didn't get to sleep much last night. She was scared to death.

    I 2nd (or whatever number :) ) what everyone just said. Glad Sophie had you with her for comfort. A vet told me that if your dog is afraid of loud thunder that you can buy thunderstorm music. On a normal day play it very low and very gradually turn it up until it gets pretty loud. I've never tried it. I'm sure Sophie feels safe in your arms.
