Default A BIG thank you for help with Brother 770PE

I put up a thread for help with my brother 770PE. I've had it almost a year and can't figure out how to download my designs. a fellow member Sadie took the time to help me, not on one occasion, but on three separate days. She spent time researching things for me and giving me web sites to go to. She tried her darndest to help me, but I've got windows 8 and she windows Xp so we had a bit of a problem.

I want to thank Sadie again for her help with this. A big THANK YOU!!!
    We'll get this yet.

I still haven't figured out how to get to the designs I bought from a web site.. I hate change and windows 8 is making it even worse! I use a amazing box to convert and send designs to a card or stick , took awhile to figure it out. The old box wouldn't work with 8 so had to buy the new amazing box. Good luck! It's all frustrating!

Yes, Sadie helped me too - I have a PE-770 and she helped me to make my labels and names - I've had my machine almost a year and it was just gathering dust and frustrating me - I am so glad that she was able to help me use my machine. She even sent me some embroidery designs. Thank you Sadie.

I'm having trouble with the same machine. How do I use designs I have downloaded to show up? I can't see them on the screen so I don't know which one is which.

From what I've learned so far you need to get a FREEprogram that reads the design, PES is our format.
When I find out. i'll let you know

Lynnie, I saw your post needing help, and I wanted to help, BUT, the only knowledgeable thing I could tell you is to purchase Embird (Secrets of Embroidery). You need to get the Iconizer with it. Total 168.50, but worth every, every penny. I've used Embird for 7 yrs, and love it. I can purchase, or receive any design, I download it to Embird and can see it, save it to my USB stick and away I go. You can change coloring, resize, delete part of the design, just all kinds of things. Oh, I DO have the PE770, hahaha.... I love that little machine, it does far better stitching than my Janome every did.. I have had Embird 5 & 6, and this past Christmas my son gave me Embird7... In my opinion ya just can't beat it..

That's my 2 cents, for whatever it's worth..lol Good luck.

    Jean

I bought Embrilliance in December to replace my Customizer. I cant imagine not having a software program for machine embroidery designs. I learned Customizer thanks to an online friend in Canada who walked me thru it via Pm's. I was forever grateful.
