Hang an old cd with fishing line outside in front of the window. The sun will reflect off it and keep the birds away from the window.

My mom keeps rubber snakes on her windows sills (outside) and anyplace she doesn't want the birds to roost (poop). That has worked for her for years.

I was just telling my husband the other day that a cardinal keeps looking in the windows at me and my grandson. As we go to different rooms he always seems to find us. My husband asked if he was looking in all the windows or just in the room I was in. rotfl I just looked at him and said I'm not sure honey, I only noticed him in the room I was in at the time. He later realized what he had asked.lol

Birds fly into windows during mating season. They think the reflection is another bird. Don't have any idea on how to stop them.

I suffer the same problem and solved it by hanging wind chimes under the house eves infront of the windows. I can still see out the birds don't suffer and I get the benefit of the loveley chimes! good luck.

I had the same problem until I put a hanging bird feeder on 9 inch plant hook just outside the window. Now they fly to the feeder and away instead of into the window..

Or those dangling spinners or chimes if you like them it will deter the birds
