I joined WW in January. It takes awhile to figure out. Just hang in there and be patient. I eat oatmeal for breakfast with fresh fruit. Only 2 points. I lost 31 pounds and this is without much exercise. I need to start doing more of that to lose 2 pounds a week.

I'm doing the points plus program now. Sometimes if I'm in a rush in the morning I make a smoothie with a packet of WW shake powder, 1 cup of fat free milk and some frozen strawberries or blueberries. Blend it in a blender with a few ice cubes. 4 points plus and very filling. You can make it with water instead of milk but I want the extra calcium.
You can also make an egg white omelette with 3 egg whites(1 point) some spinach and 1 0z of cheese(2 points). Verry tasty and easy to make. Add some sliced fruit and it's a filling breakfast.

I joined the first part of May and have losted 17 pounds. I would say go for it if you like to eat a larger breakfast, you can always cut down on your lunch/dinner points. Just make sure you are eating right, lots of fruit and vegetables.

I lost 20 gained 10 then 30 more. yikes,I need to do something. Hang with people that eat to much I guess. although my closest one is starting to see things my way because she needs to lose also. She would go out and always orders her own meal. So I said when you go with me we are sharing. There is no reason to eat all that food by yourself. She has finally figured it out, she doesn't need all that food either, and does just fine with less. we also started cooking more meals at home.
I was wondering how many points does WW give you for a day?I also just had back surgery, that is another reason for the extra weight gain. Couldn't walk without pain pills for 18 months.

that's a good idea. I'm looking for breakfast ideas that don't involve eggs.

Millstream Mom (and everyone else), I (being very overweight) decided on May 1, 2011 that I would make my best effort EVER to do something about my weight.
Being a bit anal sometimes (and not liking "rah rah" meetings) I made a decision to do this: I would purchase the Smart Ones meals (by WW) which state the points plus right on each box, I would allow myself only fruit and non-starchy veggies in between (bear in mind that even the desserts have points on the box so I could have them as well)as they are "free".
I succeeded in being faithful the first two weeks and then a friend said I should attend at least ONE meeting, join, buy the two books (Complete Food Companion and Dining Out Companion) as well as the WW Calculator. Ok, I did just that. I carry the fabulous calculator when grocery shopping and can immediately tell the points of absolutely anything on the grocer's shelf BEFORE purchasing it! The calculator is definitely "where its at" for me!
I am still going, I vow to stay on top of it this time and lose the weight. I am down 17 pounds from May 1st and I'm ok with that.
Keep on keepin' on as they say, this is really really not hard, never need to be hungry and can eat anything as long as you stay in the points allowed.

I track dinner to dinner. In other words, I start with the evening meal and track that, then breakfast, then lunch.

But, to answer your question, substitute egg beaters for egg. You get more volume and it makes up in the microwave really fast. Go to www.hungrygirl.com and get on her daily mailing list. She gives tons of recipies and includes the new points plus for you.

For more volume at breakfast, eat fruit ... it's FREE!!!

PM me if you nee support. I made lifetime in June last year (96 pounds less of me and I feel so much better for it)!
