Yes! I love them. When we were kids it wasa rule to save them for our Mom. I can remember sneaking some sometimes.

I adore black jelly beans - or anything licorice flavored. I've heard that most of the flavorings are actually anise, not licorice. I want to try candy that is that, not anise.

PS - I have tooth powder that is anise flavored (which is similar). Makes an interesting difference from mint. :)

I'm with you on that one, when we used to buy mixed bags when I was a kid and my mom got all the black ones. :thumbdown: :thumbdown:
I'm with you two! And I still give them to my mom! :lol:

But I only buy the ones with pectin in them because the flavor is much better. CVS has a Gold Emblem brand that's wonderful - and yes they have black ones in them!

quite pricey, but well worth it! Also bo't their sugar free Christmas hard candy mix. Not quite the same as the real stuff, but sometimes we just have to do what we have to do. LOL
