Smiling at the stories! I think some of the antics stem from a touch of jealousy! Yes , jealousy, they see you working with it and feel they are being ignored. soooooooooo when the cat is away the mice will play, so to speak! Crazy little creatures!!

We have a 6 1/2 mo old Boston puppy that is a taste tester for EVERYTHING.! He goes along with his tongue on the floor, checking it all out. In my sewing room (white carpet, before dogs) he checks out every nook and cranny. Yesterday, he found colored foil christmas decorative string with trees holly and berries. I think he only ate a couple of trees...can't wait to see what comes out. He's been known to take ice cubes out of our water glasses and has even tried to sip out of our wine glasses....nothing is sacred around him. He's a character for sure. I think he was weaned very early also. He's always sucking on fleece fabric and burying his nose in the crook of your arm to go to sleep. It's been a long time since we had a pupppy around (like 15 yrs) and it really is like having a toddler in the house.......you have to pick up everything out of their reach. LOL

I used to work in a vet's office. We did surgery once on a VERY ill golden retriever. The vet removed an intact sock. We could still see the Nike logo. It had obstructed his bowel. He was lucky to have made it. His owner almost died when she saw the bill!

I had to laugh! It's happened to me too! I was laughing at my dog as she chased something around on the floor (I had already taken my contacts out!), and when I realized what it was, I was as mad at myself as I was the darn dog!

Well all I can say is at least it was your puppys..My 2 grandkids used to love to use the scissors and I would find thread, material and my crochet thread cut up.I am so glad they have stopped that.I still love them even though I was very angry with them.I am just thankful they didn't cut up something I was working on.
