That fellow is a 'keeper'! It is heartening to hear stories of a younger man caring about the emotional welfare of an older person in such a way when we hear too often of selfish acts.
It's absolutely wonderful that the storm left them untouched.

What a wonderful young man. He certainly knows the value of a quilt in terms of heart. So sad for the community.

Amen! It is so sad to see that so many have lost so much including the ultimate loss of life. I saw on TV that they found the body of a five year old child in the rubble! My thoughts and prayers go out to all of those that have been in the path of such devastation. Thank you for sharing this heartwarming story! So glad that his Mother-in-law's quilts were spared!

Wow, What a special young man to think of his MIL's quilts and the years of love and work she put into them. My heart goes out to all who have lost so much in the wake of all the destructive tornados. Prayers and hugs to all.
