I just took him over to the woman child (32) that lives with her aunt and uncle next door. She seems to like him and was holding him and giving him a real once over. I like to do things for her sometimes and I know she appreciates it, and will often write me a thank you or something similar. She cannot make words but tries her best in the letters and pretty envelopes. I see her heart and know she cares about me and appreciates the few things i do for her. I 'read' the letter and praise her for thinking of me and she seems to like ... that I care about doing that. I told her she'd need to give him a name, and hike his loose britches up every once in awhile. I have never heard the story of how she became as she is. Sad situation but this woman child seems happy enough and I know she is cared about. That is what is important.

Give and you shall be given. I always get back more then I ever give. Thanks for the replies. I heard that she liked it and had it on her bed, her aunts two little poodles even went in and checked it out. We feed them for a day or so now and then when they go away or something, so likely had the scent of us and our home on the yarn. The dogs know we are crazy about them.
Thanks again.

What a kindness you have shown. It sounds like life might be a bit difficult for this person and the love you show to her can only make things much better. Love that you did this!!! Bless you many times over!
PS: Forgot to mention that the Blue Bunny is so darn cute, dressed and undressed.

He sure is cute! Love the expression on his little face. When I first saw the post title I thought it was going to be about ice cream. We have a brand here with that name.
