Use Dawn for everything around here: Greasy spills, hands, laundry, dishes and floor spills. Put it in weed sprayer with 2-4-D or round-up and it sticks to weeds to get a better kill. My husband puts it in all the soap dispensers at his business-works great! On the advice of our eye doctor, we wash our eyeglasses with it to remove all the dirt and grim that gets between & around the frame and lenses. Sparkling lenses! Love my Dawn!

My husband mixes blue Dawn, Epsom salts and vinegar to kill weeds. He sprays them early in the morning so it soaks into the weeds.

Wow. Did not know dawn could deal with grease. I ruined a shirt and have washed and pretreated. I will try dawn. I want to be able to wear it without the stains.

My husband is the world champion shirt stainer...grease drips are the worst. and once the shirt has been washed and dried, it seemed impossible to get the stain out until I tried soaking the entire stain in dish soap (Dawn or other...Palmolive works and so does a thorough soaking with a shampoo that doesn't have conditioner in it. Fold the item up and throw it in the laundry basket until time to do the wash. Wash the item with the usual companions and Boom! no more stain..I've done this about 10 times and it works every time...tried it on my own clothes,, as well...seems to be the time the soap stays on the fabric and has a chance to really soak into the fibers. I have a front loader...no problems.

1 tsp of Dawn, 1/2 cup of (non sudsing) ammonia and a gallon of water. Put in a spray bottle for cleaning windows.
