i belong to our local library.I like to get books on tape from certain authors to listen to while I iron or garden or quilt. I am a mystery buff. I especially like british mystries. I do have certain authors from here in the states too.

The first book I read was Little House on the Prarrie. Since then I have been hooked. I like Susan Wiggs, John Grisham, John D. McDonald, Nora Roberts, J.D. Robb, J.A. Jance, Max Lucado, Phillip Yancy,Jonathan & Faye Kellerman, Mary Higgins Clark and too many others to list. I frequent the library and yard sales for books. I like almost any kind of books, with the exception of porne, sports, and most science fiction.

Yes, I have a library card. Find lots of good and inexpensive books in the "Friends of the library" bookstore, as well as local mission and thrift stores. Usually pay only $1-2 for books, so if I don't like them, I just donate or pass along to a friend. Just finished "The Help" which I highly recommend. The one I'm trying to read right now, not so much. Will try a couple more chapters, then out it goes if it doesn't improve. Came highly recommended, just not my taste I guess.

Read this series years ago. Very interesting. I still remember some of the characters and details.

I finished reading "Water for Elephants" a few weeks ago; it was a Christmas gift from a niece. Great book.
    Ditto. Really a good read.

I enjoyed reading "We Had Everything But Money" also. Helped me understand my parents and grandparents habits. Also made me appreciate how much we take for granted.

Ditto. "My Sister's Keeper" is very good. And Nicholas Sparks for a heart warmer. Seems he can see the goodness in people.
