Bosch fans....
Thanks to help from board I figured out how to get Amazon prime video onto my iPad......so I began to watch Bosch, since several years ago I was hooked on the book series. I must be confusing this character with another book series character because no part of the first season was familiar to me. Then I got to thinking....is this an updated made for video version of Bosch? If I recall, his mom was a painter - thought his wife and child had been killed - did not live in a stilt house at the oceans edge, but rather in a country like setting.....boy, I better get the first book out of the library again........but, I must say Titus plays the role very well........

GeriB - you are definitely confusing the series! Bosch's mom was a prostitute who was killed when he was younger and he spent his youth in orphanages.
Bosch is named after the painter!
Great series, both book and tv!

Thanks, Slicksister, for your very informative and complete information. You are awesome! I've added Michael Connelly and the titles to my list. I don't think I've read any of his books. YAY! More reading power! Plus, we lived in the LAPD's area during the late 80's, so these might be a fun read. Gotta love this Board and how good things are shared. Again, thanks!
