I've used them too and loved them. Never had a problem. Probably just a fluke.

I'm working on my second one. The first one worked fine until my daughter in law pulled the holder off thinking the kids had stuck it in there. Last night the new one fell off like you said--thank God it didn't break up into pieces--I would have had steam too!!

As far as I am concerned all Bounce products are dangerous!! Their perfume is one of many I'm allergic to. My husband can't use any fabric softener on his socks. Plus I think fabric softener on towels is gross.

I found the unscented bars and bought all there were on the shelf. Glad I did, I haven't seen them since. I have twelve, 4 month bars, enough to last 4 or more years. :mrgreen: The bar seems to soften without being over softened even with small loads.

I can't stand the smell of Bounce, the only reason I get the sheets is to spread around the attic to keep mice away. Supposedly mice hate the smell too.
