One day I want to cut some strips for a QFK strippie... ALL my rulers, not just one, but 7! were MIA... I screamed, and the kids came a runnin'... "whatcha looking for, mom?" was daughters response... "my quilting rulers, they seem to be MIA?" ... son RUNS like a mad goose to get outta the room. They were ALL in his room, run from his bunkbed loft to his bookshelves as car ramps, with various "car accidents" on them. My 36" rulers were taped together with electrical tape, about 1/2 a roll, and spanned nearly 6 feet to the top of the windows. (well, he did explain that the cars will shoot across the room on THAT ramp!)
I had to laugh, how could I punish that?

LOL that is just so cute..as a mother of 4 boys , I can sure relate to this..Not with rulers but with other things that they like to use, that was put up so they can not find...Sometimes, I think they smell them..better than any hound dog..
