    Lovely, and very practical. I've yearned for a Murphy Bed for years in this room, a spare bed takes up too much space in this room and I can't use every square foot of it.

    That is lovely - and hard to tell from the pic but looks like he matched the grain - What species? It's beautiful!

    Most of all, How do you get the bed out and do the doors and drawers open or pull out? I've never seen one like that.

    Here it is open- I just don't have the quilt I made for it back from Charisma yet - to dress it up! Plan to make another quilt for the inside wall someday.

    As far as the wood...I can't remember what he used, but it is stained Cherry.
