So sad that your Mom gave the quilt away. I wonder if she had problems with memory. Even so, it's hard to accept that she gave it away. Hugs!

I'm so sorry that your heart is broken. Is there any way you can contact Goodwill in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and see if it's still there??? Maybe someone from our QB might have rescued it. Do you have a photo of it that you can post....maybe it can be tracked down. Good luck. {{{HUGS}}}

Actually, she was on Saturday Night Live, one of the characters portrayed by the late, great, Gilda Radner.

To the original poster: Bless your poor hurt heart. I am going through a tough time right now with my elderly father who told me that I was ruining his life. He proceeded to tell me to leave or he would have me removed by the police! My crime? I was cleaning his house to make it safer to live in. My heart is broken too.
