Thanks for the encouraging news! We are preparing ourselves for the worst cost wise but so want to give this guy something good in his life! I struggle with the fact that he belonged somewhere and then didn't. I know financial times are hard and animals are considered "property" but I'm pretty sure he has never had vet care as he is 4 years old and not neutered. I just wish that pet owners would be responsible. Cost of vet care is something that should always be considered when getting a pet, not just the cost of food.

this is so loving of you. no matter what, if you can give unconditional love to an animal, even for 1 day of its life it is always a good thing. It doesnt matter if they have health issues, it matters that we give sharet

I lost a dog to heartworms and it's horrible! Now, I make sure I give them heartguard every month. Cooper is so lucky to have found you, god bless!

Vet care is definitely an issue - I just spent about $500 at the vet last week - and cat is basically on "maintenance care" - and still need to take the young cat in to be modified.

Hope this works out well all around. Every once in a while an animal comes around that we "have to " take in.
