    He is beautiful and looks intelligent. I hope all goes well with his treatment. Bless you and your hubby for saving him and being willing to make the financial sacrifice to save him...he will return everything in love and devotion.

    What a happy story for Cooper! My shepherd mix is the delight of my life and I know Cooper will be for your family too. He just needs some time to settle down a bit.

    You brought tears to my eyes with the story, we took a Jack Russel once that had heart worms. The vet explained that it would take about 5 years for the worms that he had to die. As long as we kept him on the medicine , he would not get new ones. Our dog lived for 8 more years. He was about 3-4 years old when we got him.
